Antoinette Cauley: Lead Illustrator and Creator of the Character

"Make art not war!"
Phoenix born and raised, my art has been heavily influenced by inner city poverty, social injustice and the everyday struggle that my family and I have faced. It is a reflection of the city; gritty and beautiful.
I've spent my entire life focused on figurative drawing and painting. Figures are my metaphors, embodiments of the emotional, political or religious.
My artwork fills any room with color and the hand made patterns specifically created for each painting reinforces the originality of my work. The harmonious contrast of organic and geometric shapes creates movement and texture in my work that adds new life and energy to each piece.
Art quells my mind and heals my soul it is the best medicine I've ever received. It is my link to the sublime. It is my voice. With it, I plan to change the world!
Awards:
"Vincent Van Gogh Artist of the year" 2005
Featured in the Art Intersection 2012 Summer Art Exhibit
"Best in Medium" 2012 MCC
